Print media terms

·         Magazines

·         Newspapers

Advantages

-          You can advertise different areas of media better with print media. For example, if you wanted to advertise a grand new opening of a building then you would advertise it in the local newspaper or a main stream newspaper depending on the importance.

-          When putting new stories into a newspaper you can decide how big the space you need depending on the importance of the story. This will help you budget your money wisely.

-          Most of the public will see magazines or newspapers and will get to see about the media that way. If you walk into newsagents you are filled with magazines and newspapers.

-          The older readers are more likely to use newspapers, this will then make the company sure about the numbers they normally have.

Disadvantages

-          This can be an expensive process by printing all of the newspapers and magazines.

-          Because the news changes all the time and no story are new for long; newspapers are being printed all the time so that every day the public have a new one.

-          Things can go wrong, not all viewers will see your newspaper and will miss what was written init. Parts of the newspaper that you might have wanted to add might go lost and cause problems with deadlines and the public.
